ACLS for Experienced Providers

The AHA ACLS for Experienced Providers (ACLS EP) Course is designed for advanced healthcare professionals who regularly manage complex cardiovascular emergencies. This instructor-led course expands on ACLS concepts by focusing on critical thinking, differential diagnosis, and case-based resuscitation strategies. Certification is valid for two years and meets AHA and hospital credentialing requirements.

Instructor-Led

The AHA ACLS for Experienced Providers (ACLS EP) Course is intended for healthcare providers with extensive ACLS experience who want to advance their resuscitation skills beyond standard ACLS protocols. This course follows American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and emphasizes decision-making, advanced airway management, pharmacology, and multi-system assessments in high-risk cardiac emergencies. Unlike traditional ACLS courses, ACLS EP focuses on complex cases, including toxicology, metabolic emergencies, cardiac arrest in special populations, and post-resuscitation care strategies. Participants engage in high-fidelity simulations, team-based decision-making exercises, and case-based discussions to refine their clinical judgment in dynamic environments. This course is ideal for physicians, paramedics, advanced practice providers, and experienced ACLS-certified professionals. Upon successful completion, participants receive an AHA ACLS EP certification, valid for two years.

This course results in ACLS Experienced Provider Certification.
