This course is designed for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies involving infants and children. It's ideal for first-time learners or those whose certification has expired over 2 months. Particularly suitable for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units who regularly encounter pediatric patients in high-acuity situations.
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course provides comprehensive instruction for healthcare providers on how to assess and manage pediatric cardiopulmonary emergencies. This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide advanced life support to critically ill or injured infants and children. Topics covered include systematic pediatric assessment, respiratory and cardiovascular management, and effective team dynamics.
