Heartsaver - Instructor

The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver Instructor course is designed for individuals who wish to teach and certify others in basic life-saving skills. This course provides comprehensive training on the essential techniques and knowledge required to effectively instruct Heartsaver courses, which are geared towards non-healthcare providers. Participants will learn how to teach CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, and first aid, ensuring that their students are equipped to respond to a variety of emergencies. The curriculum covers critical topics such as adult, child, and infant CPR, use of AED, and basic first aid skills including managing choking, bleeding, and other common injuries. This instructor training ensures that participants are well-prepared to educate and certify individuals in life-saving techniques that can be applied in everyday situations.
This course results in Heartsaver Instructor Certification.
