Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Heartcode
This blended learning course combines online instruction with hands-on skills practice, designed for healthcare professionals who need PALS certification and prefer a flexible learning format. Ideal for healthcare providers working with pediatric patients, including emergency response personnel, pediatric critical care staff, and other medical professionals who want to complete the cognitive portion at their own pace before demonstrating advanced pediatric life support skills in person.
The HeartCode PALS Course delivers comprehensive pediatric advanced life support training through a two-part learning experience. Participants first complete interactive online modules covering essential PALS knowledge, including pediatric assessment, recognition and management of respiratory and shock emergencies, and resuscitation team dynamics. This is followed by an in-person skills session where learners demonstrate and refine their pediatric emergency care techniques under the guidance of an AHA-certified instructor, ensuring competency in handling critical situations involving infants and children.
