Registration & Payment

·       Your seat is not guaranteed until registration is completed and payment is received (when applicable).

·       Course dates, times, and locations will be provided at the time of registration and/or confirmation.

Non-Refundable Policy

·       All course fees are non-refundable.

·       This includes (but is not limited to) situations such as schedule conflicts, illness, work obligations, or failure to complete any pre-course requirements.

No-Show Policy

·       If you do not attend the course as scheduled (no-show), you forfeit any course fees paid.

·       No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

Rescheduling Policy (48-Hour Notice Required)

·       If you need to reschedule, you must contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled course start time.

·       Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be treated as a no-show and may result in forfeiture of fees.

·       Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require enrollment in a future course date.

Late Arrival, Participation & Course Completion

·       Students are expected to arrive on time and participate fully.

·       Late arrival may prevent course completion and/or issuance of a completion card/certificate.

·       For safety and quality reasons, we may deny participation to anyone who appears impaired, disruptive, or unsafe.

Training Standards

·       Courses are taught to recognized standards and required minimum course times.

·       We do not shorten courses or “cut corners.”

Photo & Video Use Policy

·       During training, we may take photos or short videos for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes (e.g., social media posts, website content, flyers).

·       By attending, you grant First Response Education permission to use your likeness (photo/video) without compensation.

·       If you do not want to be photographed or recorded, you must notify the instructor before the course begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Assumption of Risk

·       Hands-on training may involve physical activity (e.g., kneeling, compressions, use of training equipment).

·       You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participation and agree to participate at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Response Education is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to your participation in the course.
