By registering for this course, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined below.

Attendance and No-Show Policy
Students who do not attend their scheduled class forfeit all fees paid. Arrival more than five (5) minutes after the class start time is considered a “No Show – On Time,” and, in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) requirements, late students may not be admitted. Students who miss their class must register and pay for a new course. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.

Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule your class, please contact us as soon as possible. We are happy to work with you whenever possible. See the refund policy for full rescheduling fees.

Course Requirements
Per AHA guidelines, students must be present for the entire course. There are no exceptions. Students who arrive late and are unable to attend will not receive a refund.

Family & Friends CPR Course
This course provides hands-on training in adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and choking relief. It does not include a certification card. This course is non-refundable. If you register for the incorrect course, a partial refund of $25 is available only if written notice is received within 12 hours of registration.

Health and Safety Notice
If you are pregnant or have a history of heart conditions, arthritis, or other medical concerns, please consult your physician prior to participating. Course activities may involve physical exertion, emotional stress, and potential exposure to common illnesses.

Liability Waiver
The course, for which you are enrolled may include physical strain, the possibility of emotional stress, possible exposure to, and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to influenza and COVID-19. You release and hold harmless Heart CPR Educational Services, LLC, their agents, other participants, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the Certification class (Releasees), with respect to any and all illness, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from negligence or releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.  The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
