The ECSI Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens Course provides in-person training on exposure risks, infection control, and regulatory compliance. This instructor-led course covers OSHA standards for workplace safety and best practices for handling bloodborne pathogens. Certification is valid for one year, meeting OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 requirements.
The ECSI Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens Course is designed for employees, healthcare workers, first responders, and individuals at risk of occupational exposure to infectious diseases. This instructor-led training follows OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 standards and teaches participants how to prevent exposure, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and respond to contamination incidents. Key topics include: Understanding bloodborne and airborne pathogen transmission Universal precautions and exposure control planning Proper use of PPE, hand hygiene, and safe work practices Post-exposure procedures and reporting protocols Participants engage in interactive discussions and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. Upon successful completion, they receive ECSI Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens certification, valid for one year.
