Course Cancellation and Modification Policy
Coventry Emergency Squad, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or modify any scheduled program. A course may be canceled due to, but not limited to, the following reasons:
Low enrollment
Adverse weather conditions
Disasters or acts of God
Instructor unavailability
Site unavailability
In the event of a cancellation, enrolled students will be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled class via email or phone.
Options for Enrolled Students
Program Transfer:
Enrolled students may transfer to another scheduled program.
The selection of the alternative program must be made within 30 days of the course cancellation.
If the alternative program's cost exceeds the original course fee, the student will be responsible for paying the difference. If the alternative program's cost is lower, no refunds will be issued for the cost difference.
Refund Request:
If a student is unable to locate a suitable course within 30 days, they may request a refund by emailing Training@coventryems.org.
This policy ensures flexibility while prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of all participants.
Statement of Photo Release
I hereby grant permission to Coventry Emergency Squad, Inc., its legal representatives, employees, and any individuals acting with its authorization or on its behalf, to use my name, voice, spoken statements, and likeness (whether captured in motion or still imagery) for advertising, promotional purposes, public information, or any other lawful use as deemed appropriate.
I understand that these materials may be used in various forms of media, including but not limited to print, digital, video, or online platforms, and may be shared publicly without further notification or compensation.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness or statements appear. I also release Coventry Emergency Squad, Inc. from any claims or liability related to the use of these materials.
Text Messaging and Emails
By enrolling in the course, you consent to receive text messages and emails related to the program. Please note that these messages may result in text and data charges, and Coventry Emergency Squad Inc. is not accountable for such costs. To discontinue messages, reply STOP.
Late Payment Policy for Course Registration
If you register for a course on the day of the class with the permission of the Training Site Coordinator or Administrator, and payment is not received on the same day, the following terms will apply:
Payment Grace Period:
You will have a 7-day grace period to make the full payment for the course.
Initial Late Fee:
On the 8th day, a 20% late fee will be applied to the course fee.
Any previously approved credit or fee adjustment will no longer apply, and the full course fee, including the 20% late fee, will be due.
Additional Late Fee:
If payment is not received by the 15th day, an additional 20% late fee will be added to the total amount owed.
Compliance:
Payments not made within these terms may result in forfeiture of course completion documentation or certification until the balance is paid in full.
We encourage all participants to complete payments promptly to avoid additional fees and ensure smooth processing of certifications.
