PHTLS Renewal (8 Hours)

The PHTLS Renewal Course is a refresher training designed for current PHTLS-certified EMS professionals, paramedics, and first responders. This in-person course reinforces trauma care principles, including hemorrhage control, airway management, and rapid patient assessment. Certification renewal is valid for four years.

The PHTLS Renewal Course (Instructor-Led) is an 8-hour refresher program designed for EMS personnel and first responders who need to renew their Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification. Following NAEMT guidelines, this course updates participants on the latest trauma management techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance prehospital patient care. This course reviews and reinforces key trauma care principles, including scene safety, rapid trauma assessment, hemorrhage control, airway and breathing management, and shock resuscitation. Participants will also engage in scenario-based training to apply their knowledge in real-world emergency situations. Upon successful completion, participants receive a renewed PHTLS certification, valid for four years, ensuring they remain up to date with trauma care best practices.
