The PHTLS Renewal Course (Instructor-Led) is an 8-hour refresher program designed for EMS personnel and first responders who need to renew their Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification. Following NAEMT guidelines, this course updates participants on the latest trauma management techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance prehospital patient care. This course reviews and reinforces key trauma care principles, including scene safety, rapid trauma assessment, hemorrhage control, airway and breathing management, and shock resuscitation. Participants will also engage in scenario-based training to apply their knowledge in real-world emergency situations. Upon successful completion, participants receive a renewed PHTLS certification, valid for four years, ensuring they remain up to date with trauma care best practices.
This course results in Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Certification.
