Heartsaver for K-12 Schools
The AHA Heartsaver® K-12 (In-Person) course provides live, instructor-led training in CPR, AED, and first aid for school personnel and students. It meets AHA, OSHA, and education department safety mandates. Certification is valid for two years and issued through authorized AHA training centers.
The Heartsaver® K-12 In-Person course delivers full emergency preparedness training on-site through direct instruction and hands-on practice. Designed for K-12 students, teachers, and staff, the course covers adult CPR, AED use, choking relief, and first aid for injuries, medical issues, and environmental hazards. Participants engage in real-time scenarios under the guidance of an AHA-certified instructor. This format is best for schools that prioritize structured, in-class learning and want to meet compliance requirements through fully supervised sessions. Successful students receive the AHA Heartsaver® K-12 certification card (SKU 20-3011), valid for two years. The in-person format supports consistent training quality across campuses and fulfills mandates for student and staff readiness.
