The ECSI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an in-person program for current first-aid/CPR providers who wish to teach Emergency Care & Safety Institute classes. Led by ECSI Instructor Trainers, it qualifies graduates for a renewable two-year ECSI Instructor appointment.

The ECSI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an 11-hour course that can only be taught by authorized ECSI Instructor Trainers. Part of this training is done online. Students must be certified, in the course they want to teach, prior to attending the 5 hour live class.

It is very possible that your class is not provided directly by Big Texas CPR LLC - contact your instructor with class and payment questions. Super important note: EVERY student MUST have their own email... Including when paying for the course. Certificates, online course, eBooks are all sent and accessed through the students unique email. If parents are setting this up for their child, they might have to create an email (one that their child never uses). We apologize for this inconvenience but all CPR / First Aid programs use electronic certifications, card, books, courses etc, and there is no other way to issue certifications.
