OVERVIEW

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to courses, digital products, and physical products purchased from Code Ready Education.

By purchasing from us, you agree to this Refund Policy.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of the following are final:

Ebooks
Downloadable study guides
Digital practice exams
Online course materials
Streaming educational content

Once access has been granted or a product has been downloaded, refunds will not be issued unless required by law.

If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

ONLINE COURSES

Access to online courses is granted immediately upon purchase.

Because course materials are accessible upon enrollment, refunds are generally not provided once access has been granted.

At our discretion, a refund request may be considered if submitted within a reasonable timeframe and before substantial course access or completion.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests if course materials have been accessed, downloaded, or completed.

IN-PERSON COURSES

Refund and rescheduling policies for in-person classes are as follows:

If cancellation is requested with sufficient advance notice prior to the scheduled class date, a refund or course credit may be issued.

Cancellations made close to the class date may be eligible for rescheduling but not a refund.

Failure to attend a scheduled course without prior notice may result in forfeiture of payment.

If Code Ready Education cancels or reschedules a course, participants will be offered the option to:

Transfer to a new date
Receive a full refund

AHA CERTIFICATION COURSES

For American Heart Association (AHA) courses:

Fees cover instruction, materials, and administrative processing.

If a student does not successfully complete required skills or knowledge evaluations, refunds are not provided.

If a student must retest or repeat portions of the course, additional fees may apply.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

For printed books or physical materials:

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe with proof of damage.

Replacement or refund may be issued at our discretion.

Returns may not be accepted for opened or used products unless defective.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

CHARGEBACKS

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve an issue may result in suspension of access to courses or services.

We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve concerns.

PROCESSING OF REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party processors.
