TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern your registration for and participation in any training course, class, or service offered by Homefront CPR. By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

Registration for a Homefront CPR course confirms your intent to attend on the scheduled date and time. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have received parental or guardian consent to participate. Homefront CPR reserves the right to refuse registration or remove a participant from a course at its sole discretion.

2. COURSE COMPLETION & CERTIFICATION

Certification is issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon successful completion of all required course components. Homefront CPR does not guarantee certification to any participant. To receive certification, students must:

• Attend the full duration of the scheduled class

• Demonstrate satisfactory skill performance as evaluated by the instructor

• Complete any required eLearning or written components prior to the skills session

Students who do not meet certification requirements will not receive a card and may reschedule a skills session subject to available dates and applicable fees.

3. CONDUCT & PARTICIPATION

All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward instructors and fellow students. Homefront CPR reserves the right to remove any participant from a course without refund if their conduct is disruptive, threatening, or otherwise interferes with the learning environment.

CPR and first aid training involves physical contact and hands-on practice. By registering, you acknowledge this and consent to participate in practical exercises as directed by the instructor. Students with physical limitations should notify Homefront CPR prior to their class.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

Training in CPR, first aid, and related emergency skills involves physical activity. While Homefront CPR takes all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe training environment, participants engage in hands-on practice at their own risk.

By registering, you agree that Homefront CPR, its owner, instructors, and agents shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome arising from participation in a course, including but not limited to physical exertion, allergic reactions, or pre-existing medical conditions.

The training provided by Homefront CPR is intended for educational purposes. Certification does not guarantee that a participant will successfully perform CPR or first aid in a real emergency situation, and Homefront CPR assumes no liability for outcomes in actual emergencies.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All course materials, handouts, slides, and content provided by Homefront CPR are the property of Homefront CPR or its certifying partners (American Heart Association, American Red Cross) and are protected by copyright. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.

6. REFUND & CANCELLATION

Refund and cancellation terms are governed by the Homefront CPR Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. By registering, you confirm you have reviewed the Refund Policy and agree to its terms.

7. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE

Homefront CPR may occasionally photograph or record training sessions for educational or marketing purposes. By registering, you grant Homefront CPR permission to use images or recordings in which you may appear, without compensation. If you do not consent, please notify us in writing prior to your class and we will make reasonable accommodations.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute arising from your participation in a Homefront CPR course shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Monroe County, Indiana.

Indiana Compliance: Homefront CPR operates in compliance with Indiana consumer protection law (IC 24-5-0.5 et seq.). Completion of registration constitutes acceptance of these terms. Homefront CPR reserves the right to update these policies at any time.
