Course Registration, Attendance, Rescheduling & Liability Policy

By registering for or participating in a course offered by Ifa Training Center, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the policies, terms, and conditions outlined below.

Attendance and No-Show Policy

Students are expected to arrive on time and be prepared to participate for the entire scheduled course.

Students who fail to attend their scheduled class without prior notice will be considered a No-Show and will forfeit all course fees paid. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

Students arriving more than five (5) minutes after the scheduled class start time may not be admitted into the course because required instruction, demonstrations, or skills practice may have already begun. If a student is unable to participate because of late arrival, the student may be required to register and pay for another course.

Please plan to arrive at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time whenever possible.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Course fees reserve your seat and allow Ifa Training Center, LLC to prepare the appropriate equipment, course materials, instructor time, and certification resources.

Cancellations made five (5) calendar days or less before the scheduled course are non-refundable.

For cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days before the scheduled course, please contact Ifa Training Center, LLC regarding available refund or rescheduling options.

Course materials, electronic course materials, certification fees, or other items that have already been purchased, issued, or assigned to a student may be non-refundable.

If Ifa Training Center, LLC must cancel a class, affected students will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund of eligible course fees.

Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule your class, please contact Ifa Training Center, LLC as soon as possible.

We understand that unexpected circumstances occur and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests when possible. Rescheduling is subject to instructor and course availability.

Requests made five (5) calendar days or less before the scheduled class may be subject to additional fees or treated as a late cancellation.

Failure to attend a rescheduled class may result in forfeiture of all fees paid.

Course Requirements

Students must participate in all required portions of the course, including instruction, demonstrations, skills practice, assessments, and testing when applicable.

For American Heart Association courses, students must successfully complete all applicable AHA course requirements before a course completion card may be issued.

Registration and payment do not guarantee successful course completion or certification.

Students who are unable or unwilling to complete required course activities or demonstrate required skills may not qualify for a course completion card or certificate.

Family & Friends CPR Course

The AHA Family & Friends CPR Course provides CPR education and hands-on practice that may include adult, child, and infant CPR, AED awareness/use, and choking relief.

Family & Friends CPR is not a certification course and does not provide an AHA course completion card.

Students are responsible for confirming that the course they register for meets their employer, school, licensing, or personal requirements.

Choosing the Correct Course

Students are responsible for selecting the appropriate course before registering.

If your employer, school, licensing agency, or other organization requires a specific certification, please verify those requirements before registration.

If you are unsure whether you need BLS, Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Family & Friends CPR, or another course, please contact Ifa Training Center, LLC before registering.

Registration for the incorrect course does not guarantee a full refund or transfer.

Mobile Training and Travel

Ifa Training Center, LLC provides mobile training throughout East Texas and may provide training outside the immediate service area by arrangement.

Additional mileage, travel, lodging, facility, or other reasonable expenses may apply depending on the location and circumstances of the course. Any applicable travel charges will be communicated before the class is confirmed whenever possible.

For private group or on-site courses, the person or organization booking the class is responsible for providing a safe and reasonably appropriate training environment unless otherwise arranged.

Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

By participating in training provided by Ifa Training Center, LLC, you acknowledge that CPR, first aid, and related training activities may involve physical exertion and other inherent risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participation and agree to release and hold harmless Ifa Training Center, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and, when applicable, owners or operators of facilities where training is conducted, from claims arising from your voluntary participation in course activities, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived or limited.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

American Heart Association Disclaimer

Certification and Course Completion Cards

When applicable, course completion cards are issued only after the student successfully completes all required components of the applicable course.

Ifa Training Center, LLC cannot guarantee that a particular certification will satisfy the requirements of every employer, school, licensing agency, or regulatory organization. Students are responsible for verifying which certification their organization requires before registering.
