Terms and Conditions
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Once registration is complete, no refunds will be issued.
If you need to cancel a class, you will receive full credit valid for 120 days from the original class date. However, cancellation requests made 24 to 48 hours before the class will incur a fee (see Rescheduling Policy). Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the class start time will not be honored.
Respond & Rescue reserves the right to cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, extreme weather, building closures, or other events beyond our control that prevent us from conducting the class. In such cases, you may reschedule without penalty or hold credit indefinitely.
Classes with fewer than three registered students may be canceled. In this event, you will be notified at least 12 hours in advance and offered a choice to reschedule without penalty or receive a full refund.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
To reschedule, contact us at contact@respondandrescue.com or leave a voicemail at
703-278-2631 if representatives are unavailable. Proof of attempted contact is required for rescheduling requests.
72 Hours or More in Advance: Rescheduling requests made at least 72 hours before the class start time incur no fee and are allowed once.
24-48 Hours Before the Class: Rescheduling within this timeframe will incur a $25 fee.
Less than 24 Hours Before the Class: Rescheduling is not allowed within 24 hours. Requests made on the day of the class will result in being marked as a "No Show" (see No Show Policy).
One Reschedule Limit: Rescheduling is permitted only once per course. Missing the rescheduled class will forfeit your credit, and further rescheduling will not be allowed, except in cases of extreme weather or other emergencies.
LATENESS POLICY
Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time.
Students more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted to the class. However, those arriving between 15 and 45 minutes late may reschedule per the "24-48 Hours Before the Class" policy, provided they make an effort to attend.
Students who are late for a rescheduled class will be considered a "No Show."
NO SHOW POLICY
Students who fail to attend without notifying us at least 24 hours in advance will be considered "No Show." No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided.
BLENDED COURSES
Blended courses (part online, part in-person) require completing the online portion before the scheduled class date. Failure to complete this will result in being barred from the skills session, and no refund or rescheduling will be granted.
EMAIL & TEXTING LIST
By registering, you agree to receive emails and text messages from Respond & Rescue. You can unsubscribe anytime via email or the unsubscribe link in the messages.
REPLACEMENT/MISPRINTED CARDS
Replacement cards can be requested by emailing contact@respondandrescue.com. You are responsible for spelling your name correctly during registration. Incorrect names require a replacement card fee.
E-LEARNING/ONLINE COURSES
No refunds are issued for online courses once registered.
Switching from an online to an in-person course is not permitted.
Refunds for courses with an online component apply only to the in-person session.
PAYMENT POLICY
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
CREDIT CARD DISPUTES
Disputes resulting in chargebacks will incur a $25 processing fee in addition to the original charge.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your personal information (name, address, phone, email) is used only for transactions with Respond & Rescue and its partners. We do not store payment information or share data with third parties.
LIABILITY POLICY
Respond & Rescue is not responsible for injuries during training, including skills practice. Inform the instructor of any medical conditions that may be affected by the course.
