REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Homefront CPR, we understand that life happens. This policy is straightforward: communicate with us in advance and we will work with you. By registering for any course, you agree to the terms below.

The bottom line: Contact us before your class and we will take care of you. No-shows and same-day silence are the only situations where no options are available.
7 OR MORE DAYS BEFORE CLASS
Cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled class and you have full flexibility. Choose either a complete refund of all fees paid or a free one-time reschedule to any available class date. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of your approved request.
WITHIN 7 DAYS, CONTACTED IN ADVANCE
If you reach out to us before your class starts, even if it is the day before, we will reschedule you one time at no charge. We cannot issue a refund at this stage due to instructor scheduling and reserved seating costs, but we will make sure your training still happens.
NO-SHOWS
Students who do not attend and do not contact us in advance of their class forfeit their registration fee in full. No refund and no reschedule credit will be issued. Instructor time, course materials, and reserved seating cannot be recovered once a class begins.
DOCUMENTED EMERGENCIES
We know that real life does not always give advance notice. If you or an immediate family member experience a medical emergency, hospitalization, bereavement, severe weather, or a similar unforeseen event, reach out to us as soon as you are able. We will issue a class credit valid for 12 months and reschedule your training at no charge.
Supporting documentation may be requested in some cases. This provision applies at the discretion of Homefront CPR and is intended to cover genuine emergencies, not general schedule conflicts.
Real example: When a major snowstorm hit Bloomington at the start of 2026, affected students were rescheduled at no charge under this provision. That is exactly what this clause is here for.
WHEN HOMEFRONT CPR CANCELS
In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to instructor illness, facility issues, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified as promptly as possible and offered your choice of:
• Full refund of all fees paid, processed within 10 business days
• Transfer to another available class date at no charge
• Full class credit valid for 12 months
ONLINE & eLEARNING FEES
eLearning fees are passed directly from the certifying organization to Homefront CPR and cannot be refunded once course access has been issued:
• American Red Cross eLearning fee: $15.00
• American Heart Association eLearning fee: $40.00
If access has not yet been activated, refund requests submitted may be honored. Contact us immediately if you need to address this.
LATE ARRIVALS
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may prevent you from completing certification under American Heart Association or American Red Cross requirements. If this happens, we will work with you on a reduced-rate reschedule when possible. No refund is issued for late arrivals.

Indiana Compliance: This policy is intended to comply with the Indiana Deceptive Consumer Sales Act (IC 24-5-0.5 et seq.). Completion of registration constitutes acceptance of this policy. Homefront CPR reserves the right to update this policy; the version in effect at time of registration governs.
