Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in courses and use of services provided by Mid-Minnesota EMS Education (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for a class or accessing our services, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Registration
Your seat is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. During registration, we collect personal details including your name, contact information, and payment data. This information is used solely to process your enrollment and issue certifications.
2. Transfers and Cancellations
Transfer requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the class start time and will incur a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before class are eligible for a 50% refund minus processing fees. Cancellations within 48 hours of class are non-refundable.
3. No-Show / Late Arrival
Failure to attend or arriving after the class has started results in forfeiture of your registration fee. You must re-register for a future course.
4. Failed Certification / Missed Pre-Course Requirements
There are no refunds for failed attempts. If required pre-course work is not completed before class, the registration is forfeited, and re-enrollment is required.
5. Online and Hybrid Courses
Once online content is accessed, no refunds will be issued. If the skills session has not yet been scheduled, a 50% partial refund may be considered. No refund is available after the skills session is scheduled or materials are issued.
6. Class Cancellation by Us
Mid-Minnesota EMS Education reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other extenuating circumstances. In such cases, participants may choose between a full refund or free transfer to another scheduled class.
7. Payments and Fees
All course fees are due at registration and quoted in USD. Applicable taxes will be added in accordance with Minnesota law.
8. Certification and Course Materials
Course materials are non-refundable once provided. Certification cards will be issued upon successful completion of course requirements.
9. Liability Waiver
By registering for and participating in a course, you acknowledge and accept any risks involved in hands-on training activities. You agree to hold harmless Mid-Minnesota EMS Education, its staff, and instructors from any liability for injuries or damages incurred during training.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located within Minnesota.
