Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
River City CPR strives to provide fair and consistent scheduling and refund practices while reserving class space and instructor availability for all students.
Individual Classes:
Cancellations 72 Hours or More Before Class
Students who cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled class start time are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations Within 72 Hours
Students who cancel less than 72 hours before the scheduled class start time are not eligible for a refund. At River City CPR’s discretion, the student may reschedule once for an equivalent course within 30 days, subject to seat availability.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals
Students who do not attend their scheduled class, or who arrive too late to complete all required course content, are not eligible for a refund.
Depending on the requirements of the certifying organization or regulatory agency, late-arriving students may be required to reschedule to a future class.
Online Courses
For courses that include online learning or blended learning components, no refunds will be issued after an online course keycode, access code, or course access link has been redeemed or activated.
Class Cancellations by River City CPR
If River City CPR cancels or reschedules a class due to low enrollment, instructor availability, facility issues, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, students may choose either:
A full refund; or
Transfer to another available class at no additional charge.
Private and Group Training
Deposits (if applicable) for private or group training are non-refundable.
Remaining balances may be refunded if cancellation is received at least 14 calendar days before the scheduled training date. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the scheduled training date are generally not eligible for a refund.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever practical. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

This policy is made available to students before registration in accordance with applicable California law, including California Civil Code § 1723.
