Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 17, 2026

1. Overview

River City CPR provides training in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, EMT skills verification, continuing education, and other emergency medical courses. By registering for a class, accessing our website, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

Our courses are open to individuals who meet the prerequisites outlined in each course description. Certain advanced courses may require current certification, professional licensure, or other qualifications before enrollment.

3. Registration and Payment

All class registrations must be completed through River City CPR’s approved registration platform or by another approved method.

Payment is due at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

River City CPR reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule classes due to low enrollment, instructor availability, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, transfers, and rescheduling are governed by the current River City CPR Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.

5. Attendance

Students are expected to arrive on time and attend the entire course. Depending on the requirements of the certifying organization or regulatory agency, students who arrive late, leave early, or miss required portions of instruction may be required to reschedule or may be ineligible to receive certification.

6. Certification

Successful completion of all required course components, including any required skills evaluations and written examinations, may qualify a student to receive certification from the applicable certifying organization or agency.

Certification is issued only after all applicable course requirements have been successfully completed. River City CPR cannot guarantee certification if course requirements are not met.

7. Code of Conduct

To provide a safe and professional learning environment:

  • Students are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and respect.

  • Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class without refund, subject to the River City CPR Refund Policy.

  • Students who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, or whose condition presents a safety risk, may be denied participation or removed from class.

  • Audio or video recording of classes is prohibited unless expressly authorized by River City CPR.

8. Health and Safety

Many of our courses include physically demanding hands-on skills practice. Students should notify their instructor before class if they have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or other circumstance that may affect their ability to participate safely.

Reasonable accommodations will be considered when appropriate; however, some certification requirements may require successful completion of specific physical skills.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, handouts, logos, website content, and other materials provided by River City CPR are the property of River City CPR or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, or modified without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
