Response Dynamics, Inc. (“Response Dynamics,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information collected in connection with our training programs. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when individuals register for or participate in Response Dynamics courses using the HOVN platform.

Through HOVN, Response Dynamics may collect the following types of information:

Personal Identifiers: Name, date of birth, email address, phone number
Professional Information: Employer or agency name, job title, certification or license numbers (when required)
Training Records: Course registrations, attendance, completion status, skills verification, and certification history
Payment-Related Information: Confirmation of payment status (payment card data is processed by third-party payment processors and is not stored by Response Dynamics)
System Data: Login activity, timestamps, and course participation records

Information collected is limited to what is necessary to administer training, issue certifications, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate training records.

2. How We Use Information

Collected information is used solely for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

Course registration, scheduling, and administration
Verification of eligibility and prerequisites
Issuance and tracking of certifications and continuing education records

Response Dynamics does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

With instructors or evaluators as necessary to conduct and document training
With certifying organizations (e.g., CPR, First Aid, or public safety credentialing bodies) for certification issuance or verification

All third parties receiving information are limited to the minimum data necessary to perform their function.

4. Data Storage & Security

Training records are stored within HOVN and Response Dynamics administrative systems.
Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate need to know.

While no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, Response Dynamics takes appropriate steps to protect the confidentiality and integrity of stored data.

Training and certification records are retained in accordance with operational needs, accrediting body requirements, and applicable laws.
Records may be retained for multiple years to support certification verification, audits, or client reporting obligations.

Participants may request to:

Review or correct inaccurate personal information
Obtain a copy of their training or certification records
Update contact information

Requests must be submitted in writing to Response Dynamics. Certain records may not be eligible for deletion due to regulatory, contractual, or accreditation requirements.

7. Third-Party Platforms

HOVN is a third-party learning and training management platform used by Response Dynamics. While we take care to work with reputable vendors, Response Dynamics is not responsible for the independent privacy practices or policies of third-party platforms beyond our control.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The most current version will apply to all information collected going forward.
