Refund & Cancellation Policy

Applies to: Open Enrollment Training

Response Dynamics is committed to providing high-quality, instructor-led public safety and medical training. Because our courses involve advance scheduling, instructor staffing, equipment preparation, and limited seat availability, the following refund and cancellation policy applies to all open enrollment courses unless otherwise stated in writing.

1. Registration & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a seat.

  • Seats are limited and filled on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.

2. Student-Initiated Cancellations

More than 14 days before the course date

  • A full refund will be issued, less a non‑refundable processing fee (if applicable), or

  • The student may elect to receive a full credit toward a future Response Dynamics open enrollment course.

14 days or fewer before the course date

  • No cash refunds will be issued.

  • The student may transfer their registration to another scheduled course one time, subject to seat availability, or

  • Transfer their seat to another eligible participant with prior written notice.

Day-of or No‑Show

  • No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for same-day cancellations or failure to attend.

3. CPR / First Aid–Specific Policy

  • CPR and First Aid courses follow the same cancellation timeline outlined above.

  • Once course materials, certification processing, or eCards have been issued, no refunds will be granted.

4. Course Transfers & Substitutions

  • Seat transfers to another individual are permitted up to 24 hours before the course start time, provided the replacement student meets course eligibility requirements.

  • Requests must be submitted in writing.

5. Course Cancellation by Response Dynamics

  • Response Dynamics reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment, instructor illness, facility issues, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • In the event of a cancellation by Response Dynamics, students will be offered:

    • A full refund, or

    • A full credit toward a future course.

  • Response Dynamics is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost wages, or other indirect expenses.

6. Failure to Meet Course Requirements

  • No refunds will be issued if a participant is removed or unable to complete a course due to:

    • Failure to meet prerequisites

    • Safety violations

    • Disruptive behavior

    • Failure to participate in required skills or scenarios

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor.

8. Policy Acknowledgment

  • Registration and payment constitute acceptance of this refund and cancellation policy.
